The Chess-A Game of wits

DSC_0617

The precursors of chess originated in India during the Gupta Empire. There, its early form in the 6th century was known as Chaturanga, which translates as “ four divisions (of the military)”infantry, cavalry, elephantry and chariotry. These forms are represented by the pieces that would evolve into the modern pawn, knight, bishop and rook respectively. From India, the game spread to Persia. There this game was called Shatranj. When the Arabs conquered Persia, chess was taken up by the Muslim world and subsequently spread to southern Europe, chess evolved into roughly its current form in the 15th century. In the second half of the 19th century, modern chess tournament play began, and the first World Chess Championship was held in 1886. The 20th century saw great leaps

forward in chess theory and the establishment of the World Chess Federation (FIDE). But chess remains a game of strategy, tactics and planning that continues to excite players young and old.
Chess is played between two players who sit on opposite sides of a chess board. One player takes command of white and the another person takes command of Black 16 pieces each always arranged in the same way at the start of the game . The player with the white pieces always starts the game. The players alternate moves until one player attacks the enemy king in such a way that the King can not escape. And this will be the end of the game.
The benefits that children derive from chess can hardly be overestimated.Children who start learning chess show great improvement in their Academic carrier.

Our Mission

To be a catalyst force to create and produce Indian aspirants of chess ‘The strategic game’.Virtually, I have devoted my life to excavate the golden glory of a sport which was seeded in ancient India as ‘Chaupad’, but now a very lagged behind comparing to other sports. My motive clearly focuses on nurturing the saplings of this intellectual game into large trees growing to the horizon, where the glory and grandeur can be seen by the world and bow to recognition to our brains.
Along with this I request the first teacher of young ‘ The parents’, to join my hands as to keep the momentum of their aspirants, they should act as motivational force specially when children are off their coaches.

Our Vision

qw

I “Sayeed Ahmad” have pledged myself not only being a chess coach but a mentor and motivational guiding force.I want to inculcate such traits in my players where they understand this sport not only as a game but a war which can only be won if the strategic moves are correct. As this brain teaser helps in our lives also, to plan ourselves, gives perseverance, determination to force oddities and finding the ways out to counterstrategies to succeed. My philosophy goes very simple-“It is not wanting to win that makes you winner, it is refusing to fail”.

My Mission Statement

horse
My mission is to be a force for positive change and to inspire others to greatness through being a catalyst for action and through developing a shared vision of that which is possible.
I will strive to continually invent the future out of my imagination. Rather than being a victim of the past. I will strive to choose my way honoring courage, justice, humility, kindness, under standing and personal integrity.
Finally, I will frequently remind myself that, without risk, there is neither success nor failure. As Thomas Aquinas observed: If the primary mission of a captain were to preserve his ship, He would never leave port.
I pledge myself to being a caring and honest friend to those around me and to always attempt to link that which I know with that which I do……….
